An Internet of Things (IoT)-based Agricultural Machinery Monitoring System using a Dual-Node architecture with a Laravel web dashboard and a Flutter mobile application.
The management of Agricultural Machinery (Alsintan) generally faces obstacles such as difficult monitoring in areas without cellular signals, inaccurate manual logging, and the absence of operational boundaries. This limited supervision is vulnerable to asset misuse and decreases operational efficiency. Therefore, this project aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Alsintan Monitoring System. It was developed using a Dual-Node architecture (Arduino Nano and ESP32-S3) with RS-485 communication, utilizing temperature, vibration, and fuel flow sensors, along with a GPS module. Data is processed through a Laravel 12-based server equipped with a Ray-Casting algorithm for Smart Geofencing, and presented through a web dashboard interface and a Flutter mobile application. To overcome signal loss, the system features a MicroSD-based Store-and-Forward mechanism to back up data offline. Through this system, management can monitor the position and condition of the machines automatically, accurately, and in real-time, thereby improving efficiency and preventing Alsintan misuse.
